Games reviewers are predicting the imminent rise to the top of Microsoft Xbox games after a decade of Sony PlayStation dominance.
Revealed at Gamescom’s opening night Xbox showed previews of 27 games, described by reviewers as “and encouragingly diverse, rather than US-centric.”
There were both new games and developments to older games on offer and you can read the review here.
For Super Mario fans there is a new Nintendo game to watch out for on the Switch, expected to be released in October.
It will, says the review, “introduce the Wonder Flower, a four-player co-op feature – and Mario will be able to turn into an elephant”.
